Customer care and billing software maker Gentrack has announced its long-standing chief executive, James Docking, will step down in 2016. Docking will stay in the role while the company finds a new chief and ‘it is envisaged that he will remain involved in the business in a capacity to be agreed.’
Docking has led Gentrack for 20 years and oversaw the purchase of its Airport 20/20 business in 1999, which now accounts for 10% of sales, as well as the UK and Australian expansion and a partial management buy-out in 2007.
