Coles Myer - $7.48: Third quarter sales increased by 6.2%, in line with expectations, although like for like sales only increased by 4.0%, highlighting the sluggishness of the retail sector. Management remains confident of achieving double-digit earnings growth for the year ending June 1998. Remains a long term buy although we do prefer Woolworths.
