ASX still offers good value

Despite uncertainty over the future of its equities clearing monopoly, the ASX still offers good value.

It’s been a long time coming, but the ASX might finally be showing a little growth again. Earnings per share are expected to rise around 4% this year and next, which may not sound like much but is a great improvement on the sideways performance since the global financial crisis.

All of this, though, seems to be lost on the share price, which has fallen around 10% since peaking at over $44 in March, offering up a great opportunity for growth and income-focused investors alike.
