Warren Buffet and others have suggested that the best investment for someone who does not trust their stock judgement nor have the time to spend in research, is in a low-cost index fund (based on the historical fact that the overall stockmarket gives better returns than other classes of investment and index funds beat active funds less their higher costs). How does one find index funds and is it easy to determine the costs of each? Do these funds give franked returns or not?
