Hi, I understand that there is a difference between LIC's and ETF's (but probably need some clarification on the below question). I find the "Research and Advice" section on LIC's to be very useful in terms of NAV and Discount / Premium to the currents share price (in terms of valuation). ETF's however only have a "InvestSmart Rating", which while useful, does not give me an indication as to whether I might be paying a Discount / Premium or not. Can ETF's not be assessed based on NAV (if not, why not) and if they can't, then how would one determine if they are paying too much / too little for an ETF?
