Your questions answered

I am continually receiving letters from the companies in which I invest with booklets on issue sponsorship. What do I do with my old share certifications?

For old times sake, I wouldn't throw them out just yet In the future, you won't be getting share certificates. Instead you'll get notification form the issuer of your holdings. This could be a company or broker. But a word of waning - keep the contract notes from your broker as these contain the exact date and costs or proceeds from your transaction. You'll need them for tax purposes.
