Gail Kelly's total remuneration edges down in FY2013, chairman's pay lifts

Westpac Banking Corporation says it has rewarded high performers across its business who helped deliver strong financial results, despite not increasing fixed remuneration or incentive targets for its senior executives in 2013.

In its annual report, Westpac said chief executive officer Gail Kelly's total remuneration was $9.2 million in fiscal 2013, including fixed remuneration, short-term incentives, superannuation and share-based payments.

This is a slight dip from her total remuneration in fiscal 2012 of $9.6 million.

Chairman Lindsay Maxsted's total remuneration was $776, 870 in fiscal 2013, up from $677, 464 in the prior year.
