Solar power from paint!?!

For years many have tried to knock crystalline silicon off its perch in the PV sector, but imagine if it could happen by producing cheap solar energy from paint? An entrant to the Ecomagination Challenge thinks we could do just that.

Over the years there have been plenty of scientists and businesses that have tried to knock crystalline silicon off its perch as the material of choice in manufacture of solar photovoltaic panels.  Yet so far they’ve fallen short. However, it hasn’t stopped people from trying.
