Broadband jitters

Telecommunications expert Paul Budde says he's getting more and more questions about broadband quality - the result, he says, of a copper based network that was never designed for broadband.

As Budde explains, some of the major reasons behind this include the problem of distance with add-on technologies like ADSL 2, and the fact that we're using more rich media applications.

But as this infographic from WhistleOut shows, many Australians simply aren't getting the speeds often talked about by telcos.
