Computer maker HP has claimed credit in helping make the latest 3D adventure comedy film The Croods. HP said it provided the computer resources used by DreamWorks Animation, including servers, storage, workstations, and digital rendering technology.


US authorities are said to be investigating a Panasonic subsidiary for possible bribery of airline and government officials outside the US. Panasonic Avionics has received a subpoena for company communications records.


Australian software developer Blocks Global has closed a distribution deal that will result in its cloud content management system for digital retail signs used worldwide. The system allows retailers to manage ads on signs and tablet devices remotely. The deal is with Taiwan's AOpen.
