Boart Longyear trading halt

Boart Longyear has requested a trading halt after speculation about the status of its debt raising

Boart Longyear Ltd shares have been placed in trading halt at the company's request, pending the release of an announcement.

The drilling services provider asked for the halt as a result of media speculation about the status of its debt offering announced to the market on September 12.

The group asked the trading halt remain in place until it can make a further announcement in response to the speculation. 

The shares will remain in trading halt until the start of trade on September 24 or when the announcement is released to the market, whichever is earlier.
