Agent Marshall White began with a $2.25 million vendor bid thatwas followed by a genuine offer of $2.275 million; but the property passed in. It is close to the station, in a tree-lined street, on a 555-square-metre lot.

THE four-level townhouse is one of 46 in Mirvac’s Laureate project next to the Gasworks Park, whichwas once earmarked for a retirement village. The four bedroom townhouse has a ground floor space with a bathroom, which could act as a study, and double garage. Features include terraces with city and bay views. Itwas sold by Buxton Real Estate.

THIS partly renovated four-bedroom housewas put up for auction by its mortgagee. It is close to shops, parks, schools and transport. Three bidders competed, starting with a low $150,000 bid. Agent Love Real Estate said one bidder dropped out early but the remaining two went head-to-head until it was on the market at $245,000. It sold soon afterwards.

20Odenwald Road, Eaglemont

AGENT Miles Real Estate sold this house to its overseas vendors in 1968 and has managed the property since. A $900,000 vendor bid kicked off the auction, which attracted five bidders keen to buy an entry-level Eaglemont property. It reached its reserve at $940,000. The newowners have plans to completely overhaul the three-bedroom house.

SPRINGFIELD sold before its scheduled weekend auction. The former Woodend North Primary School, dating back to 1878, had been extended into a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. It is on 8422 square metres of landscaped gardens and includes a large studio with office and workshop. It was sold by Joan Gladman Real Estate.
