Apple's slipping mobile stranglehold

Apple hold over Australia's device market looks to be easing, but is this slip a sign that Apple is faltering or does it show that its major competitors are getting stronger

It may be too soon to call it, but it appears as if Apple’s stranglehold over the Australian device market may be easing.

If today’s infographic from InMobi is any indication consumers may be snapping out the trance the company put them in a couple of years ago. Apple is still very much dominant, but its hold is slipping.

The question remains however, is this slip a sign that Apple is faltering or does it show that its major competitor, Samsung is getting stronger?
