What is TrailCap™?
TrailCap™ has been designed to simply save you money on your managed investments, including superannuation and allocated pensions. Fees diminish your returns and that's why smart investors look for ways to reduce the fees they pay.

TrailCap™ enables you to monitor accumulated trailing commissions on managed investments held by you, your partner, companies, trusts and/or their various superannuation funds under the one TrailCap™ account. These all count towards your annual trailing commission amount, and 50% of the amount above $300* will be passed on to you every year.
As with all managed fund investments via InvestSMART you pay NO entry fees, plus you also receive a cash payment from InvestSMART for 50% of the trailing commissions we receive from participating fund managers on your investments above $300 p.a.*
How TrailCap™ worksFund managers pay trailing commissions to intermediaries and advisers - including InvestSMART. These are not extra fees paid by you, and are generally paid out of the unavoidable management fees (MER) fund managers charge for managing your money.
However, by simply nominating InvestSMART as your fund broker (using our one-page Fund Broker Nomination Form) for your managed funds, super and allocated pension investments, we will reward you by giving you 50% of trailing commissions we receive over $300 pa.*
How much can I save with TrailCap™?With InvestSMART nominated as your fund broker you will continue to receive cash back each year for the entire life of your investments.
