Business Description:
Southern Cross Media Group Limited (SXL) is a media provider which owns and engages in the broadcasting of free to air commercial TV and radio stations across Australia, advertising sales on TV and radio and management of online radio content.

Strategy Analysis:
SXL is focused on its core Australian television and radio broadcasting assets. Its key short-term objectives will be to ensure a smooth integration of the Austereo acquisition and the realisation of full synergy benefits. Southern Cross Media Group reported NPAT of $53.3m for the year ended 30 June 2011. Revenues from ordinary activities were $492.81m, up 21.1% from last year. Diluted EPS was 11.53 cents compared to (23.93) cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $164.6m compared to $101.39m last year. The final dividend declared was 3.0 cents, taking the full year dividend to 10.0 cents compared with 9.7 cents last year.
