Strategy Analysis: HAP's objective is to generate superior returns over the long term across all market conditions via leveraged exposure to the performance of a diversified portfolio of international absolute return funds. Its strategy will be pursued by investing primarily in Leverage Instruments, which are currently designed to provide up to 4 times leveraged exposure to the return of an underlying investment (Underlying Fund), less the Leveraged Cost. Leverage of up to 4 times will be achieved by a leverage provider contributing up to $3.00 for every $1.00 invested. The asset allocation as at 30 June 2008 comprised of 55.2% in Equity, 26.8% in Fixed Interest, and 18% in Cash.
