Company Overview

Business Description:
Infomedia Limited (IFM) is a supplier of information solutions providing electronic parts catalogue and data management systems to the parts and service sector of the global automotive industry. Infomedia has headquarters in Sydney and support centres in Australia, Europe, Japan, China, Latin America and North America.

Strategy Analysis:
IFM is focused on the utilisation of advanced programming technology, product reliability, performance accountability and customer service. In FY08, the company commenced a rapid development program to provide a path for its customers to move from disc based solutions to entirely web based solutions. This evolution will deliver lower supply chain costs and faster data and application development turnaround time for its customers. The first of these new web based solutions was released in September 2008 and releases will continue during the next 12 months. In the year ahead IFM will see through to conclusion the previously communicated reduction in General Motors subscriptions. However, growth in other subscriptions, particularly Superservice Menus, is forecasted to give rise to net subscription growth for the 2009 year. Infomedia reported NPAT up 8% to $11.34m for the year ended 30 June 2010. Revenue from ordinary activities were $45.34m, down 17% from last year. Basic and Diluted EPS were 3.66 cents compared to 3.32 cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $10.17m compared to $5.2m last year. The final dividend declared was 1.2 cents, taking the full year dividend to 2.4 cents compared with 2.8 cents last year.
