Business Description: Devine Limited (DVN) is an Australian residential property developer offering affordable housing products in QLD, VIC and SA. DVN operates in home building, land development, medium and high-density residential developments, as well as office and hotel development. As at June 2011, DVN’s development pipeline included the equivalent of 16,000 allotments and dwellings.
Strategy Analysis: DVN's business strategy is focused on geographic and product diversification through organic and acquisitive activities. There will also be a continued focus on selling developed land to other builders and introduce new housing designs on its residential estates.
Devine reported NPAT of $20.19m for the year ended 30 June 2011. Revenues from ordinary activities were $425.17m, down 25.50% from last year. Basic and Diluted EPS were 3.20 cents compared to 1.80 cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $75.43m compared to $139.13m last year. The final dividend declared was 1.00 cents, taking the full year dividend to 2.00 cents compared with 1.00 cents last year.
