Business Description: CSG Limited (CSV) is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and consulting company offering end to end technology solutions and services through the company’s two business divisions: Technology Solutions and Print Services.
Strategy Analysis: Historically CSV´s strategy has been to seek organic growth through aggressively targeting multi-year, annuity contracts and also reaching into new geographies. For acquisitive growth, it made a number of acquisitions in the Print business. But poor management the Canon acquisition resulted in significant underperformance relative to expectations. Following a change of management, current strategy is focused on stabilising the business and improving the performance of Canon. In Print Services the focus is on operational efficiency in Australia and growth through new initiatives in New Zealand. In Technology Services there is a focus on improving profitability and maximising organic growth opportunities by leveraging its national platform.
CSG reported NPAT up 24% to $39.10m for the year ended 30 June 2011. Revenues from ordinary activities were $388.60m, up 40% from the same period last year. Diluted EPS was 15.60 cents compared to 15.63 cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $14.10m compared to $35.19m last year. The final dividend declared was 3 cents, taking the full year dividend to 5.50 cents compared with 5.50 cents last year.
