Business Description:
Boom Logistics Limited (BOL) is an Australian lifting solutions company with a pivotal position in the industrial maintenance, commercial construction and resources sectors. BOL operates in a range of lifting services including: Managed Lifting Solutions; Contractual Maintenance Arrangements; Crane Integration for High Rise Construction; Engineering Services and Maintenance; and Equipment Hire.

Strategy Analysis:
Via a string of acquisitions BOL has built national coverage, considerable scale and a broad, integrated suite of lifting solutions. These features deliver a leading industry position and the ability to service a wide range of customers. Acquisitions also provide cross-selling opportunities. The ability to relocate equipment to areas of highest demand improves capital utilisation and confers cost advantages. BOL´s pipeline is currently strong and it continues to achieve a win rate of 50%. Boom Logistics reported a net loss of $37.75m for the year ended 30 June 2011. Revenues from ordinary activities were $338.33m, up 9.6% from last year. Diluted EPS was (8.2) cents compared to 2.1 cents last year. Net operating cash flow was $34.10m compared to $45.27m last year. No dividend was declared.
