Business Description:
Alcoa Inc. (AAI) is involved in the production and management of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum, and alumina combined, through its participations in all the following industries: technology, mining, refining, smelting, fabricating, and recycling. The Company comprises five main businesses: Engineered Products & Solutions, Building & Construction Systems, Flat-Rolled Products, Alumina and Primary Metals.

Strategy Analysis:
AAI seek to expand their presence in all aspects of the aluminium industry; technology, mining, refining, smelting, fabricating and recycling through a long term investment strategy whilst also focusing on low-cost production. AAI also aim to ensure long term competitiveness by working to improve margins to offset increases in input costs and through investing in growth areas.
