Business Description:
Agenix Limited (AGX) is an Australian based international biotechnology company with a wholly owned subsidiary in China. The company has two core businesses: Innovative Biopharmaceuticals and Medical Diagnostics

Strategy Analysis:
As part of the organic growth strategy Agenix will continue to invest funds in the commercialisation Thromboview (TB) product. The company plans to spend more than $10m in FY06 on the progress of Thromboview. As part of their strategy, Agenix enters into manufacturing and distribution contracts with third parties. Agenix's subsidary, Milton Pharmaceuticlas, was sold in FY05 to free management and financial resources to build the imaging pipeline. In addition, Agenix focuses on broadening its products portfolio with preliminary work commencing on the development of a product to image arterial blood clots associated with heart attacks and strokes..
